I got into a bike accident and got stitches on my face and knee, should I cancel my solo-trip?
Hey guys, sorry if this is out of place, but I don't know anyone who was in this situation before. The bike accident wasn't that bad, I didn't have a concussion. Just two stitches on my face and three on my knee.
I'm really sad right now because I was planning on heading off on a solo-trip in less than a week, but the stitches will only be removed after ten days.
My vacation ends in three weeks and I was planning on travelling for all of them. Would I get weird looks or something for travelling with a bandage on my face? Is there any reason I should stop my travels completely? I can always get the stitches removed in the middle of the trip (yay for German health insurance), but I don't know if that's enough.
Any advice would be appreciated. No one close to me knows about the accident, so I can't talk about it personally, and the doctors weren't very helpful. (I guess for them my situation is too silly)
