Switzerland to Italy - Swiss Travel Pass worth it?
Hi everyone! Doing my first solo trip for a month and half all throughout Europe but I'm a little stuck deciding travel plans from Switzerland to Italy. Main goal for Switzerland is to see the alps and do some outdoor activities. Plan is to fly to Zurich from Paris and then take a train to Lucerne & Interlaken then to Milan, Italy.
Total Length in Switzerland, 3 days.
Day 1: Land in Zurich, Train to Lucerne (spend the night)
Day 2: Explore Lucerne until lunch and Train to Interlaken (Spend the night)
Day 3: Explore Interlaken and surrounding alps (Spend the night)
Day 4: Train to Milan, Italy
A few questions:
Is the Swiss Travel pass worth it for my itinerary? Or should I buy individual train tickets?
Does the Swiss Travel Pass get me to Milan, Italy?
Should I spend time in Zurich?
Should I spend more time in Lucerne? or less time?
