Advice: Travelling Europe in Winter
Hi guys!
My younger sister and I were thinking of planning a trip to Europe in the winter (we'll travel together for a few weeks and then I'm planning to split off by myself for another few weeks) - we've gone a couple of times before in the summer and we thought it'd be nice to travel in winter (Dec-Jan) to get a different experience.
However, my family keeps nagging us and telling us that it's a stupid idea! They keep saying that it's going to be so cold we'll hate it (we're from AUS so we've never experienced sub zero temps).
So I thought I'd come to this sub for some advice - for those of you who have travelled to Europe in winter, what did you think of it! Did you like it? Was the cold manageable? What are the top places you'd recommend to visit in winter?
Thank you in advance! :)
