Yet another Middle East itinerary question.
Hey. Common topic here, but I couldn’t find my exact situation. Alright, I wanna go to the Middle East in February/March. So far, this is what I’m considering: Fly to Beirut, spend around a week or so in Lebanon. Fly to Amman, see the city for a few days. Go to the dead sea, cross into Israel to see Jerusalem, or maybe more. Go back to Jordan and continue south (Petra and the other good stuff). Get a boat to Egypt and continue to Aswan. Then Aswan, Luxor, Cairo, flying home from Cairo ( or maybe Alexandria, if it’s worth going there). Time is not really a concern for me, but I think this should take 4-6 weeks or so. I have probably around 1500€ or so, which i know might be a little too little. Questions are: 1: Is my itinerary doable? The Israel crossing and the boat to Egypt in particular. 2: Is my budget too low for this? I plan on taking a tent and camping out, if possible. Also, Couchsurfing etc. 3: How much time would be ideal in each country? Thanks, Me
