Anyone here have that feeling that they did not "do enough" when they travel solo?
Like for me personally , I went to Thailand solo a few months back , I met great and fun people generally and enjoyed my time there :) However the sights were kinda not my type. I mean they were new but not the kind of sights that would give you the "WOAH" feeling and the food I see/buy around in Thailand could be usually bought from back home(I am from Singapore, so the heat,temples,food,etc can be seen back home). The beaches were way more beautiful back home of course and the bars and clubs were much fun as well. However , I feel that it was a pity because I do not know how to swim but it was relaxing to be there but sad at the same time seeing people enjoying water activities. Not to mention the times when you talk to fellow strangers/travellers and you say something stupid and embarrass yourself.. hahaa.... All in all , it was a fun trip but I felt like I could have way more fun and did more stuff if u know what I mean ? Just wanna rant out to see if there are people out there that have the same feelings as me ? :)
