A year later, posting one of the poems I wrote about backpacking alone. Feedback is very welcome!
I wrote this in Thailand last year, on a day where I was content yet overwhelmed, questioning if I was trying hard enough to see and feel new things while I was on the road, while still trying to balance getting the rest and comfort I wanted/needed. Got a couple more in store but finally trying to get these out and see what people think, one by one. Hope you enjoy!
Pent up passenger,
Where is your adventure?
Blooming fields,
Emotional shields
Bamboo in the palm of your hand.
Eyes squinting towards traffic
Welcoming the breeze like magic
Untie your hair, and with it all assumption
Nothing matters, but the turn at the junction.
