Good day fellow travelers.

A hypothetical question that I hope ends up not being a concern but better prepared and worried than naive. This broaches on politics, so I'm hoping we can keep it civil and on topic.

The past several years I've driven from Arizona to Puerto Peñasco for a couple day vacation after the holiday madness. This year with the continuing government shutdown, it has been threatened that the southern US border would be closed.

Assuming, on the off chance it actually happened while I am down there, what would my recourse be in returning to the states? Would it be an issues or am I making a mountain out of a mole hill?
