27/M Solo in Australia. Any tips? Particularly surfing
I finally made it across the pond and decided to hit Australia. Previously, all my solo travel has been done hitch hiking and motorbiking through Canada.
I have the visa, and plan on doing the 88 days farm work as well as doing some exploring as well.
I'm in Victoria now, finishing a job on the countryside. Then I'll be free until I find more work
Ive met other travellers and I'll be honest I'm not really into the whole "backpacker" thing, for lack of a better term. A lot of them seem to be doing tours, and activities very cattered to tourists I'm not into the whole -lets hit all the spots and take selfies while doing it-. Really I'd like to explore, and surf but not outta the brochure or instagram, if you know what mean. North Americas vastness seems different then here on the east side.
Maybe I sound like an ass. I just want to know some good spots and where to learn how to surf where I wont be the oldest one hahah
