Late April trip South NJ to Ashville, NC in an RV, what stops/ detours are recommended?

We would leave early Sat April 20th and ultimately end up in Ashville, NC at the Biltmore Estate. We would have to be back in NJ the following Sat (morning) We are searching roadtripper.com but I figured it would make sense to ask reddit for recommendations. I would like to blow past Washington D.C. that city needs a week by itself. We have a 10 and 12 year old and a 9 month old.

I think a stop at Cavern would be great for the kids. Even for that stop I am not sure which one (Seneca, Grand caverns or Shanadoah).

Any advise, camp ground recommendations etc. Thanks in advance!
