I’ve asked folks I know but none of them have driven it in the winter.

I’m driving Alberta to Vancouver in the next few days (in Manitoba now) and would love to have some wisdoms shared from all you knowledgeable souls on the best pass to take. I’m in a 2010 Ford Transit Connect (fwd) and have all seasons (not good I know) as I’m heading to California and the south western states after.

I’m really at a loss here and questioning if I should just head south, or but some snow chains and stick to the #1 and go for it (keeping an eye on the weather)

I’ve converted the transit into a little camper for my girlfriend, our dog and I, heat and all so staying somewhere to ride out some snow is possible.

Anyway I’m a noob and likely breaking many reddit protocols here so take it easy on me. Just a dude out here riding the wave tryin to cross a mountain range in a deliver van...
