Should I do it? Part of me says yes, another part says no
I’m 18 years old and I’m about to graduate from high school in a week. Its always been a dream of mine to travel and see the world and I’ve been saving up money for the past two years. I have the money... I have my first plane ticket booked to Paris... but now I’m a little nervous. I grew up in a small rural town and people don’t really do this. I’m the only one in my grade not going to college or university, and I’m okay with that, But... now I’m getting a bit nervous. I’ll be backpacking around Europe for about 4 months and then making a 2 1/2 week stop in China before I come back home. This is what I’ve always dreamt of, jetting off for an adventure and now I have the opportunity very fee people have. But now I’m getting a little scared, I think it’s just last-minute nerves. I know I’m going to enjoy myself and have a once in a lifetime experience but I just guess I need a little bit of reassurance to get on the plane.
