Suggestions for two weeks in Hungary/Croatia/maybe Bosnia/Slovenia (hostels?)
Hey everyone! So excited for my first solo travel experience!! I fly into budapest in early June and want to stay there 3-5 nights before traveling around other parts of hungary. In mid/late June I'm meeting friends in Dubrovnik to hike in the Balkans, so I'm trying to decide how to fill my time between landing in budapest and hiking.
As for hostels, I've seen plenty of people suggest party hostels in Budapest. Is it still easy to find people who want to go out in non-party hostels? I don't have the biggest itch to go out with a massive group nor have going out be my guaranteed activity at night.
Besides that, where do people suggest I go in the surrounding area in Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia, and Slovenia? I only have two weeks and trying to keep a small budget, but willing to spend on travel (rather than a lot on drinks/food). I have some lonely planet books but wanted to know what people on here thought.
