If you've ever dreamed of transitioning from hotel guest to hotel owner, this is exactly what my wife and I decided to do.
After meeting at a bar in South Korea and teaching for 7 years together (Korea, Vietnam, Chile and then a 2nd tour in Korea) we liquidated our life savings and threw it all into one crazy idea.
To build our own boutique hotel from scratch.
It's been a wild ride since we settled here in Mexico 7 years ago...some bad, some good...but all up an incredible adventure.
I'll answer just about anything with the exception of exact financial details. I'm happy to answer financial questions vaguely but don't want to publish our personal finances online.
