[Itinerary] Sri Lanka 2.5/3 weeks
Hi,
I'm in the middle of planning my first solo trip abroad and could do with some help planning my itinerary. Ideally i'd like to go for two weeks minimum, three weeks max. I'll be flying our from London, leaving mid July, possibly returning first week of August.
This is what I have come up with so far:
- Colombo (1 night)
- Colombo > Negombo (2 nights)

Negombo > Kandy (3/4 nights)
- Temple of the tooth
- Perahera Festival
- Sigiriya
- Dambulla caves
- Big Buddha statue
- World Buddhist museum

Kandy > Nuwara Eliya (This is a maybe)

Kandy > Ella (3/4 nights)
- Little Adam's peak
- Ellas rock
- Nine Arch Bridge
That's it so far, questions:
- Am I spending too long or too little in each of these places?
- Should I visit Nuwara Eliya?
- Where should I head after Ella?
- Ideally a place where I can meet other solo travellers to go for a beer.
- I'd like to spend a few days sitting on the beach, reading and listening to music.
