I got a lot of tips from the sub so have come up with this rough itinerary for my trip to the UK.

This is in July, 13th to 16th - London 17th - Day trip to Cambridge, back to London to catch evening flight to Edinburgh. (Would love to know off a better way to reach Edinburgh after my trip to Cambridge). 17th night arrive in Edinburgh. 18th to 19th in Edinburgh.

I don't want to rent a car so probably want to do a 2 day tour to the highlands that stops at Fort William. From there I want to take the train to Mallaig and then down to Glasgow. 22nd afternoon / evening reach Glasgow.

23rd fly to Dublin (to meet a few friends). 23rd to 25th in Dublin then 26th back to London.

I really want to take the train ride from Mallaig to Glasgow looks beautiful. Any tips around the Edinburgh Glasgow legs would be appreciated :)
