Hey looking for some feedback on an idea I have. Would you be interested in a vacation in a Florida city with planned events everyday to encourage social interaction with other adults?
So I figured this would be a good community to get some feedback from. I used to live in Europe and got my first taste of solo travel and also traveling with friends staying in hostels. I always had an awesome time and thought it would be great to recreate that in the US.
After analyzing this idea for a few years now I don't think a hostel in my city could be as successful as what you see in Europe or even Miami, simply because the city I live in is not as international yet.
I'm about 4 hours from Miami in an amazing city that has beaches, an awesome downtown, places to go boating and a bunch of other fun tourist type stuff. Everyone that comes here loves it.
Here's my idea - I want to set up like a 5 day vacation for people and book in groups of 15-20. I would take them to the beach, take them on bar crawls, take them out to fun restaurants, on the boat etc. All of this would happen with the group but I'd also build in time for people to spend alone or do whatever they wanted. Maybe 4 awesome events in one week and one chill day. I'd provide lodging and transportation and set up the best things to do while in town. I figure people could come alone, with a friend or a group if they'd like but the whole point would be to include everyone in events.
