Solo travel nerves kicking in, feeling pretty terrified - any advice?
Now that my first international trip, and first solo trip, is a month and a bit away, I am starting to feel really terrified. I am going to Lisbon, Portugal with IVHQ and I am just questioning every decision I've made. I keep having thoughts like why did I decide to go on this trip, why am I going alone, maybe I should wait longer, will I even enjoy it, what if I can't make friends, what if I spend the whole time lonely, etc. The rational part of my brain can counter some of them, but they are still there.
Is this normal? Any advice for getting excited rather than terrified?
