Hey all. I'm planning my first solo trip, and it seems that everyone recommends avoiding checking bags. I've been looking around for a possible pack, and here's something I found:

What do people think? As long as I don't stuff it to max capacity, it seems like it could pass as a carry-on. Does anyone have any experience with this pack or Gregory packs in general?

I've also heard great things about the Osprey porter bags, but they're a bit more expensive and seem a bit less supportive of the back. I'd appreciate any input.
