Backpacking in Europe 4 Weeks... $2000...possible?

Hi there, I have a plan to go to Europe on May 8th and return June 7th, so just over 4 weeks... is it possible to do it on $500 a week or about €400... given a hostel will be €30 a night, and €40 a day for spending money.

I already have the flight booked, going into London then Amsterdam, Paris then down to Spain but I'm still figuring out which route to take after Paris. Possibly Madrid, Granada, Malaga, Ibiza, Barcelona, Nice then finish in Rome but might cut Malaga and Granada if needed though I really want to see the Alhambra.

Any tips?
