22/M Traveling Solo to London
What started with me looking at airfare prices to Europe for fun, now has me going to London from April 6th-15th. The ticket was $650 from Los Angeles to London (round trip) and I knew that my friend was studying abroad there. I asked if I could stay with him and he said that he would be in London from the 9th-12th. With 3 days of free housing I decided to pull the trigger and go on my first solo trip.
I'm currently looking for places to stay on Airbnb, from 7th-9th and 12th-15th. I'm passionate about both sports and design. I have already signed up for some photography classes and a studio tour with one of my favorite fashion designers. I am also going to an Arsenal game on the 8th and plan on going to the Tate Modern Museum as well.
I'm looking to meet other students or young professionals. What areas have the best bars or places to meet people? I'm looking to stay in area that is safe, convenient, and exciting. Any suggestions?
