UK Short Road Trip Ideas - starting from London, up to Scotland.
Greetings!
I'll be in the UK this summer, flying into/out of London. I have family to visit and things to do there, but we're interested in heading up to Scotland and looking for ideas en route.
Along the way I need to pass through Lincolnshire to visit family, but beyond that we're very open to ideas - taking perhaps 3-4 days to get to Edinburgh, and from there for places to travel to in Scotland. At present, we're thinking that we'll do a one-way car rental and fly back to London before we leave - but if there's enough to make it worth taking a couple of days or to come back, that's certainly worth considering too.
