Potential 50ish Day Itinerary for Turkey, Balkans and Eastern Europe - Thoughts?
Hey, I will probably be doing a two month trip around Europe this summer starting in July. To me it seems that the most reasonable way would be to start in Turkey and head up to Ukraine. The only place I have been before is Budapest. I will also be going to London to try to do Wimbledon, but that's a different story. Anyway, so far it looks like:
Turkey - 5 nights in Istanbul, 1 weeks in other places (feel free to recommend). Definitely Cappadocia, Bodrum, Izmir as well.
Plovdiv - 2 nights
Mostar - 2 nights
Sarajevo - 3 nights
Belgrade - 5 nights
Timisoara - 2 nights
Budapest - 3 nights
Cluj-Napoca - 2 nights
Sighisoara - 2 nights
Lviv - 4 nights
Tiraspol - 2 nights
Odessa - 3 nights
Kiev - 4 nights
Minsk - 3 nights
Most likely I will fly out of Kiev back to London and then the states. I am thinking that I will either hitchhike, take buses and/or trains and stay in hostels.
Open to any suggestions or changes. Thanks!
Also have been to Croatia and Poland, the only place that I think I'd do again is Slovakia, the central/eastern side though.
