Ireland for St. Patrick's Day? First solotrip.
Hello all, I am going to Paris the week of St. Patrick's day. I booked a flight a while back on a whim without realizing that the week I chose contained St. Patrick's day. My question to everyone, should I rearrange my itinerary and make the 2+ day detour to Ireland or stick to the mainland? Current itinerary looks like:
- Day 1 - 3: Paris
- Day 4 - 6: Train through Switzerland, Germany, and Amsterdam
- Day 7: Paris
Basically overwhelmed with options and looking for a nudge either way, going to Ireland would basically turn days 4 - 6 into a British Isles tour. Thank you!
