If the person inviting me is in Darwin, do I have to book straight there?
Hi guys! It’ll be my first time flying solo in two weeks. I have a tourist visa to Australia, but my uncle who sent me an invitation letter for the visa lives in Darwin.
A lot of my relatives have been saying that I should book a flight straight to Darwin cause otherwise I might get in trouble with the immigration, but I was hoping to visit Sydney first for a week or two before heading on to Darwin :(
Would any of you know if the airport I fly into really matters? I was under the understanding that Australian tourist visa = can fly anywhere within Australia within the visa validity
