Iceland trip starting off on the wrong foot
Everyone said to visit iceland in the winter because there are tons of winter activities and that's when the northern lights are most active. I planned my whole trip and finally set off today. I made my first connecting flight to Minneapolis only to find my flight to New York completely canceled. Not delayed, just straight up canceled due to the "beast from the east". They rebooked me for tomorrow and gave me a discounted hotel which is worthless because all the hotels are sold out according to the delta person who handles that, so now I have to somehow sleep IN the airport. While I'd rather stay alive vs. Risk flying in unsafe conditions, I'm still annoyed. Can someone who's been to Iceland tell me this is worth it? Also, sorry about the rant. I normally am a cheery person.
