Hey everyone. Booking a last minute backpacking trip for 2 weeks from now for 2 months. Looking for advice on a second country. I initially was planning to go through China. However, the Visa For US Citizens is robbery with it already being a more expensive country than many other options in the region. So I have begun to look at Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines as alternatives. If you have any advice on those countries and the budget needed for a month there I am extremely interested? I'm booking a multi-flight home since it is a much cheaper way than two one-way flights. So in an ideal world, I'd wing it but I rather save some money. Thanks in advance.
