Getting cold feet.
I'm going on a trip in a couple of months to England, Scotland, and Ireland. England, especially London, has been my dream for many years (I come from a very small place in Canada and have always wanted to see the city). This is also my first solo trip as a 22F traveller so this a "test of the water" to see how I like travelling within Europe before I go on a much longer trip around Europe (Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, etc.) following graduation.
I'm extremely excited, my accommodations and flights/trains are set. I have a good working itinerary and have accounted for a lot of the logistics. However, I have recently been hit with a worry that is giving me major cold feet - terrorism.
I do have GAD, which usually manifests in "what if?" symptoms, so I'm trying to blame it on that, but I can't help but worry. With the recent attacks, is London safe? Or should I center my trip elsewhere?
