Heading to Europe in May any ideas where to?
For some background info on me I am a 19M who has been to England and France before in a tour group. Cheaper is better as I'm on my own in terms of finance besides the flight ballpark $1,500-$2,000 (I don't know if that is a lot or a little for 2.5 weeks since I am avoiding a lot of western Europe.)
so I have been given the gift of a free flight to Amsterdam, Netherlands in May. I wanted to extend this and see more of Europe. This will be my first time travelling alone and I think I got caught up in the whole on your own thing because I started planning going to like 7-8 places such as Berlin, Prague, Krakow, Vienna, Budapest, and Rome. obviously I can't do all of that in the 2-2.5 weeks without rushing which I don't want to do. Any recommendations as to which might be the best to see and which ones I am better off skipping? I am interested in mainly exploring the cities but maybe doing some hiking? I also had a question to if the Euro rail pass would be worth it since I am avoiding France and England?
Sorry for the tons of questions but I kinda had this thrown at me a couple days ago and I want to make the most of it!
