Crossing from California to Tijuana - a good idea?
Hi! For the past couple of weeks I’ve been touring the west coast. I’ve crossed via land from Vancouver. I’m in a LA right now and I’m thinking about crossing the border to Mexico, for just one or two days. I’ve never been to Mexico but I’d love to visit, especially as a fluent Spanish speaker. I know that it’s not particularly safe but that never really bothered me, or is it that bad?
For the technicalities, I’m a Polish citizen with a B visa. My permanent residence is officially Panama, however I’m mostly location independent. I’m not approaching even close to my maximum stay so I wouldn’t be suspected of doing a visa run (is that a thing here?). Also, I don’t have any free pages in my passport but I’m sure that’s not a big deal?
