I'm looking to travel during Thanksgiving week, since I can use just 3 personal vacation days to get off from 11/18-11/26, but I'm having trouble thinking of a good location to travel to.

Work has been stressful and I've been driving a lot recently, so I'm looking for a relaxing trip without too much travel once I've reached my destination. It's also getting cold here as winter approaches, so I don't want to go somewhere even colder. I also want someplace where I can spend time outside engaged in physical activities. I live in Eastern Pennsylvania, so I can easily fly out of any of the DC, Philadelphia, NYC, or Pittsburgh airports.

I would love to go to New Zealand or Southeast Asia, but I'm putting those trips off until I can take a couple of weeks vacation to really make the long, expensive flight worth it. The Baltic countries are also high on my list, but there would be a lot of travel between different cities on that trip. Morocco is another place I'd love to visit, but I admit to being a little worried about visiting there alone on such short notice. I think I want to visit Charleston, SC, New Orleans, Iceland with someone else, not as solo travel.

Some destinations I've been thinking about are St. Lucia, Quebec, Ireland (although I'm worried November is a poor time to experience it for the first time), Paris (where I spent a semester studying abroad), Belgium (although I have traveled here before), or Northern Italy (again, someplace I've traveled and am comfortable).

Honestly, I haven't traveled purely for fun since I started working full-time over a year ago and I feel a little unenthused by it right now, so I'm a little afraid to go to a dream destination when I'm in this mindset. I just want an easy trip to a great destination that will shake me out of my work rut and get me excited about traveling again.
