India Itinerary - Recommendations for Goa and Kerala?
I submitted a post last week and got some EXTREMELY helpful feedback from everyone, which made me completely rethink my trip. I was hoping I could get another round of feedback since last week's had so much great information. I'd especially love to know if anyone has specific recommendations as to what to do in any of these places, particularly Goa and Kerala (or anywhere else on the list!) and if there's anything that you would recommend cutting from the itinerary.
- Delhi (2 days to land and get situated)
- Agra (1 day)
- Jaipur (2 days)
- Overnight train to Jaisalmer
- Jaisalmer (three days, including 1 night camel safari)
- Jodhpur (2-4 days)
- Bus from Jodhpur to Udaipur, stopping at Ranakpur temple and Kumbhalgarh fort
- Udaipur (3-4 days)
- One day to travel from Udaipur to Cochin (not sure if I will fly to Mumbai and take a train or just fly directly to Cochin)
- Kerala (~1 week, including Cochin, Munnar, Allepey - what else is recommended?)
- Train to Goa (12-14hrs)
- Goa (4-5 days)
- Train to Hospet, taxi to Hampi
- Hampi (~2 days)
- Fly from Hospet to Delhi
- Delhi (1 day before departing)
I want to go to Hampi but it's probably the first to go if this seems unrealistic since getting to it is a challenge, unless one of the Rajasthan destinations is considered overrated.
