A month ago, I almost scrapped my trip. Today, I’m near the end of my trip and wish I could extend it.
A month ago, I made a post in r/travel about whether or not I should still go on my trip after my friend had to cancel which would leave me going solo. The thought of being a solo female traveller was honestly daunting, especially as someone who is very shy and timid. Now I’m on the last leg of my trip and I can 100% say this has been the best vacation of my life. I did so many things that I’m sure I wouldn’t have done if I was with my friend and I also learned so much about myself in the process. Now I think I actually prefer traveling solo than with friends and can’t wait to plan my next trip!
