I have been in SEA last year (Thailand, Cambodia and Singapore) and want to go there again. But this time I am so confused about which places to go. I will leave from Eastern Europe and my main return ticket is FREE (with points and other stuff) so I will pay only local and other one-way tickets in my trip.

What about Malaysia? Many travellers did not recommend easily this place. They say there are not much to see or anything different than other countries.

Indonesia is a must, I think. Bali and islands are totally recommended. Against to this, Jakarta is not recommended too much. So, I think I will skip it.

Concerned about Philippines. I think Manila is a mess (about population and traffic) If I go Philippines, I am planning to use Manila as transfer place to Boracay, El nido etc.

But totally I am not sure about this trip. I can turn my route to South Africa or India or any place where redditors could suggest.
