Minneapolis -> Houston - via Wichita or Tulsa?
I'll be driving down to Houston from Minneapolis (solo) in a week or two, and I plan to stop for a night, either in Wichita or Tulsa. While both routes are similar in mileage and time taken, the one through Wichita takes 35 all the way to Dallas, while Tulsa to Dallas is on 69 (highway with lower speed limit). Since I'm moving to Houston, my car is going to be packed with my stuff, though I plan to move the important stuff to the hotel room overnight). Is there any reason to prefer one route over the other (better route, safer parking, more options for gas, food, rest stops etc.)? Redditors have any other alternate route suggestions?
