Solo trip to Edinburgh, Scotland for New Years
Hello all,
I am purchasing my flight from the US to Edinburgh, Scotland. The trip starts on the 26th of Dec and returns 2 Jan. I've heard that New Years in Edinburgh is an amazing time.
Here is a list I pulled from /r/Edinburgh Google Map - Locations. Depending on jet lag, I will start with getting some Scotland currency, sort out my bus pass, and possibly go out.
On the 30th, there is the Torchlight Procession.
The 31st I will be attending the Hogmanay HQ.
The 1st will be something different, Loony Dook.

- Long term parking =~$50
- AirBNB =~ $240
- Planned events =~ $320
- Family gifts =~ $600-$700
- Transporation =~ $50 (Bus and train)
- Food / Drinks / Club Fees =~ $700-$900
- Total =~$3,160
I could have done this trip much cheaper since this year has been very successful. It's time to live a little. I'll be sure to post back and let everyone know what I enjoyed.
