4 weeks indonesia - my first solotrip
Hey everyone I'm planning my first solo trip to indonesia and I'm really excited about it! I got encouraged by reading all your stories in this subreddit and so I'm finally doing it.
I'll start in the middle of january for about 4 weeks. I know it's rain season but I've also been to Thailand during rain season and I don't mind if its raining a few hours a day. My Plan is to fly to Denpasar and also fly home from there. My first thought was to do two weeks Bali and two weeks Lombok (including Gili Islands) but a lot of people said that it's to much time for these two islands. Is this true and what could be a good route for 4 weeks indonesa, starting in denpasar? My main focus on this trip will be learning to surf, go for hiking trips, get to know the culture but also just hang around and enjoy my alone time while reading on the beach for example.
