Qatar airways payment verification

Hello! I'm wondering if someone has recently flown with Qatar airways and dealt with their payment verification process. I searched through the subreddit and couldn't find any recent posts about this.

I booked a one way ticket with Qatar from Sydney and ending in London for the end of October. I paid for the ticket with a credit card that is in my name. Upon finalizing the purchase I received an email from Qatar saying that they required me to submit additional information to verify my payment, including a copy of my passport and a PDF of my credit card statement. The email stated that if I did not verify my details within 48 hours, I could lose my reservation. I did a search on the good ole google and found that this is fairly common, so I went ahead and submitted the information the following morning.

Shortly after I submitted the information, I received a follow up email from Qatar basically restating that they needed me to verify my purchase within the next 24 hours...even though I had already done that. I responded through their portal saying that I had already submitted the info that they requested, and asked them to verify if they received it. I also tried calling their Australia office but it was the weekend so they were closed. They responded to my email saying they had not received the information and that I would be required to present my credit card at the time of travel to verify the purchase. They no longer stated that I could potentially lose my booking if I didn't submit verification now. They also sent me another follow up email essentially stating the same thing.

Today (Monday in oz) I called the headquarters and a representative told me that as long as I presented my credit card at the time of travel I would be able to board the flight , and that I should respond to the email saying I'm aware that I need to present the payment method. He also said that they never received the info I submitted (???). I absolutely NEED to be on this specific flight so I explained that to the man on the phone and in email to customer service, and I asked them to verify that I have a spot on the plane and have not lost my reservation. They responded over email as follows:

"Thank you for contacting Qatar Airways support desk, kindly note that your reservation is active and credit card verification will be required at the time of check in.

Please ensure to carry the card which was used to book the ticket at the airline counter on your day of departure."

I'm a little nervous because there were some people on flyer talk that said they were unable to board their flights because of messing something up with their payment verification, and if I don't take this flight I'll be overstaying a visa because my visa ends two days after. Can anyone tell me if they've flown recently with Qatar and had any issues like this? I would happily resubmit my documents to ensure the booking but it doesnt seem like that will work...TIA!
