Changing Plans Pre-Hurricane

Short and sweet version: My soon to be husband and I are getting married next Saturday the 16th and have a mini getaway scheduled immediately following. We live in the Midwest FWIW, and are scheduled to fly into Orlando on the morning of September 17th. We have a condo booked (one of those crappy timeshare deals, but hey, can't beat a hundred bucks) and a rental car reservation. Luckily we did not book any venues or tickets down there, as we don't know what will happen. We are only scheduled to be gone until Wednesday.

With Hurricane Irma continuing to get stronger and closer to the US, and another storm expected to develop not terribly far behind it, we're a bit panicked. We have never experienced this before, obviously we don't want to have to pay massive penalties to reschedule a flight or change a destination. However, we also don't want to be stuck out the cost that we spent on this trip--airfare for the two of us was already approaching $600. For what it's worth, we are flying American.

Here are our options:

1) Continue as planned and risk cancellation last minute, but no additional costs

2) Contact condo association and find availability in other portfolio locations, then try to pair with a decent airfare

3) Call the airline and see what they recommend in regards to changing or canceling the flight

4) Rock back and forth and cry with stress.

I have currently chosen Option 4, and dearly hope that someone can help with some advice.
