A bit worried about this transfer, am i being a bit paranoid?

So I'm considering booking a flight that will have me arriving in Fukuoka (FUK) 24 hours before departure for a flight on a separate ticket/booking. Ideally I would arrive on time, get a place to stay for the night and then head back to the airport in the morning, although I'd also be content hanging in/around the airport for a while if my flight arrived very late.

Obviously in normal circumstances 24 hours is more than enough time to arrive and then make it to another flight, with plenty of cushion time to account for delays and whatnot.

The flight I am taking to FUK however, is departing from DEL, New Delhi (notorious for delays due to poor visibility from fog, pollution, etc.) with a 1 hour stop at PVG, Shanghai, a 24 hour stop at PEK, Beijing, and a final 1 hour stop at TAO, Quingdao on China Eastern (I've never flown on China Eastern, but have heard they can be rather prone to delays; I've also transferred through several mainland Chinese airports before, and although maybe I was just unlucky, I've had a small delay nearly every time).

So as the title says, I'm a bit worried that the chance of delays on this itinerary are really high, and it might be better to give myself more than 24 hours, although I have a small window in which I am able to meet a friend in Beijing that coincides with this layover, so I'm tempted to go ahead and book the flight. Would you guys here on r/travel worry about this, or am I being a bit paranoid?
