Which travel insurance for Everest Base Camp 5364mt for Italian citizen?

I'm an Italian citizen and I'm looking for a travel insurance that cover my trip to the Everest Base Camp, Nepal (5364mt) with a peek at Kalapatthar (5545mt). I found the worldnomads.com insurance, but I'm not happy how they could manage the rescue if any AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) could arise (see also the comment)

I found a couple that cover specifically EBC trips, but only for UK citizens. The majority of insurance company will cover you until 4000/4500mt. My trip will hit the 4500mt the 8th day (on 15 days total) and will be 3 days over 4500mt. The insurance companies I found that DON'T COVER this trip are:

  • AIG
  • Europassistance
  • Globy
  • Allianz
  • IMG Europe
  • World First
  • few minors one that I'm not sure even if they're proper

I've also called my local mountaineering association, but couldn't help either.

I have only two weeks to get the insurance before going to the trip. Honestly, I didn't think it could be so difficoult finding a travel insurance.
