Entering US from Tijuana, Mexico with a Swiss passport?
My girlfriend is a Swiss citizen and is flying to Los Angeles from Switzerland to visit me. She is interested in visiting Mexico, but neither of us know if she can re-enter the US from Mexico with a Swiss passport. We would just be going to Tijuana for the day. I know Switzerland is al visa waiver country but I don't know how this works at the US-Mexican border. I have done many searches online, but most of the info I find us for US citizens.
Have any Swiss (or Europeans in general) done this trip? How was returning to US with a non-US passport? In particular, does anyone know if and how the border rules have changed under the current administration?
This below is the only info I could find online that pertains to non-US citizens, it mentions a multiple entry visa, but I don't know how that applies to visa waiver countries like Switzerland? I don't see anything on the State department website.
