Anywhere in Central America or the Caribbean that isn't crazy for Semana Santa?
I'm a teacher and would really like to hit somewhere warm over Spring Break - which happens to be Semana Santa. I don't drink and I don't have much interest in being anywhere that is crazy and crowded and looks like Spring Break in Cabo.
I wanted to do Roatan, but that seems to be fucking crazy. So I looked at Corn Islands in Nicaragua which seem to also be busy. Still unsure if Bocas del Toro in Panama is also going to be crazy.
Anyone with a suggestion for me? I'd like to be near the ocean and warm. I've been all over Costa Rica so I'd rather avoid it. I've been to Caye Caulker and while I wouldn't mind going back there if it is one of few mellow places, I prefer to go somewhere new instead of hit a repeat.
Other suggestions?
