hey guys,

posted this on a couple of other subreddits and got little attention, so here goes:

In a few weeks i am heading to Guilin, and i'm looking for some advice. 1) Can anyone recommend a hostel outside Yangshuo? I don't want to be in the middle of Yangshuo because I heard it's too noisy. Any recommendations for somewhere comfortable and with a good atmosphere would be appreciated.

2) How do I go about seeing the Longji Rice Terraces from Guilin? Is this easy to organise when i'm there? are there group tours, or should I just get on a bus and do it myself? Is it even worth the trip?

3) Rough itinerary - what do you think? Day 1 - arrive Guilin airport at 9a.m. --> Try to go to Longji Rice Terraces today. Night in Guilin. Day 2 - Head to Yangshuo Day 3 - Yangshuo Day 4 - Yangshuo Day 5 - Yangshuo Day 6 - Head back to Guilin for 2pm flight out
