I’m driving cross-country to New York via the southern route next month. This is really more of an errand than a pleasure trip, so I’m not particularly looking to hang around and see the sights, although it would be nice to see some along the way and stay in places with a good vibe. My goal is to drive no more than six hours a day via the central route. I got my SoCal to Albuquerque itinerary covered. What would you recommend from there, keeping the drive northeast?
