In two weeks, my parents and I will be flying over to Texas(Austin) from Southern California. We'll only be there for a few days. But we're planning on renting a car and driving back instead. So, I was wondering if anyone knows of any fun or interesting places to stop by and check out along the way? We want to be on the road for about three days, four at most. Also, which route is preferred to head back to Orange County, CA? I would imagine most will say to take the I-40.
