Flying to Stockholm from UK and looking for an interesting return journey
Hey everyone
Me and my partner are travelling to Stockholm in January and we’re looking to explore a more interesting route back home rather than flying straight back
We looked at taking the train from Stockholm to Copenhagen and flying back from there’s. The train is about 5 hours and I’m not sure (especially with it getting dark early) itd be particularly scenic, so not sure about that one. Other option would be to fly to Copenhagen and then return from there.
Another idea was to fly to Brussels, explore there, then there’s a 2 hour train to Paris we could take. I have family who live there itd be nice to see, but I’m aware we might be trying to squeeze too much in
We’re looking to travel from Sunday to Sunday in January and we’ve not bought tickets yet
Any ideas? Anywhere worth checking out around Stockholm? We’re really open to anything, just interested in seeing more of Europe/Sweden
