Round Trip Tour of The U.S Reccomendations?
I'm Starting in South East Idaho and my plan so far is to spend a summer out on the road, i've been saving up for a long while but now I am actually starting to plan this trip out.
I want some recommendations on routes and some ideas on some places to go. My plan so far is to go from South East Idaho up into Washington and check out the Olympic Peninsula. Then drive down the coast into North California then skip South California and go check out Southern Nevada. Then from Nevada go into Arizona and then maybe into Colorado going through Oklahoma into Texas. Then in Texas going along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico into Florida to check out the everglades. Then probably going up the East Coast maybe checking out New England and then going along the great lakes through the Dakotas into Montana and making my way home from there. The plan is rough so far not really exsisting beyond a goal in my head for years now.
My main concerns are:
•Free Camping •Avoiding urban areas •Checking out all sorts natural and historic landmarks •And I rockhound too but I wont have too much space
