I’m heading out on a road trip from Portland to Phoenix in mid December. What are the best parks to hit that time of year for someone with a car that’s not particularly well suited to snow? My hope was to hit the Utah parks, but I’m afraid that may not be doable that time of year. How closed off are those parks that time of year? What about the California parks (Yosemite in particular)?
