My gf and I are going to have some time off in October and we want to take a trip. We live in Chicago so we were thinking the Badlands, Ozarks, Shawnee, Tennessee/ North Alabama. But we could also fly so maybe Vegas, a Pacific Northwest city or LA but then we would want to rent a car and I think nature is where we wanna be. Not sure what the best place might be considering some of the reservations are closed or weather. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Somewhere that looks beautiful in Autumn?
