Traveling from Missouri to Massachusetts
Hey all,
My brother is headed to University in St Louis, MO
I'm thinking to drop him there and then take one of our cars from there to Massachusetts to pick up my stuff from Storage. It's looking to be somewhere between 15-20 hours. I'm thinking to stick to the major highways not stop for longer than 35-40 minutes ( bathroom food gas)
My idea is St Louis to Cleveland day 1 I don't mind starting as early as 6/7 am and ideally want to reach Cleveland by 8 pm or so. Then again start up and go Cleveland to Massachusetts. I think it's doable. I love driving!
Anyone have experience with long drives etc. I need to go there because I'm paying 60 dollars a month for storage of items. Includes a fair bit of goods I collected while out at college and I would like to stop paying for storage. And it seems smarter to do this trip in the summer with longer daylight hours than in winter. Flying could be faster but if I fly the cost of flying alone is a lot and then I'd need to rent a car or ship the stuff back and that's another ordeal. Not to mention I need to be back the 30th as my fall semester starts up then.
Totally down to provide more details or information as needed but would love to get other opinions etc.
